Victor Tan
(b. 1969, Singapore)
Victor Tan found a name for himself in the arts scene with his unusual and persistent choice of medium - wire. He uses wire alone, along with unique techniques, branches out to investigate existential ideas about humanity, isolation of human emotions in the present and the passing of time and life.
His works may be found on a larger scale in certain parts of Singapore. Some of which are located at Orchard Central's Roof Garden.
As Victor continues to develop his process, he questions the existence of the world as it is presented, and its ongoing happenings. Victor aims to deliver a message through his artwork in which he ultimately hopes that it will be better place to live in someday.
