Chok Dee’s paintings in ink recall the artist’s childhood memories in Malaysia where he grew up. Lanterns, quilts, bow-ties, little nooks, old walls and plants are his favourite subjects. Currently residing in Melbourne, Australia, he is a competent and consistent doodler, making wonderful whimsical drawings that charm.
Born in 1945, Kuala Trengganu, Malaysia.
