Biography

Quek Kiat Sing has gained recognition in local awards such as the United Overseas Bank Painting of the Year Competition and the Dr Tan Tsze Chor Art Award. She also represented Singapore at the ASEAN Cultural Week in Vietnam in 2004 and participated in the China ASEAN Youth Artwork Creativity Contest in China in 2006. In 2008, she was selected for Vermont Studio Centre Residency in USA. At present, she lectures part-time at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts

Quek works in watercolour and received the Highly Commended Award for the UOB Painting of the Year competition for two years in a row in 2004 and 2005.
