Chang is a self-taught artist working mainly in watercolour and oil; painting landscapes common and uncommon around him. He has exhibited at ART-2, The Substation in 1993, 1997 and 1999. He has also exhibited in UOB’s Painting of the Year Exhibition (1989), and in Philip Morris ASEAN Art Awards (1999). His works are in many public and private collections.
